What I'm Waiting For...
NYKO Theatre ExperienceAs soon as Sepharus made the NYKO Theatre Experience available for pre-orders, I knew I had to have one for my Sony PSP. NYKO's presentation at E3 proved to me that the shock-resistant aluminum case with dual headphone jacks, stereo speakers, and 3x-life rechargeable battery is the *must-have* accessory and carrying case for the Sony PSP.
Dave at Sepharus.com tells me they expect to get them in this week, and that it'll likely ship to me this week. I've been looking forward to the NYKO Theatre Experience for over a month now.
DaxterDaxter for the PSP will be a 3-D platform title in the vein of Jak and Daxter and Crash Bandicoot for the PlayStation. Given the PSP's high-resolution, portability, and ease-of-gameplay, I expect these types of games to translate well to the PlayStation's smaller cousin. So long as we have Save Points or can put the PSP to sleep using the Power switch and pick up later where we left off, I expect it'll be very playable on the PSP.
I love these type of games, and I only wish that Crash Bandicoot and Ratchet and Clank can't be far behind.
Coded Arms (PSP)Who doesn't love First Person Shooters (FPS)?
Since this is the first generation of games for the PSP, it'll likely not have graphics as impressive as later generations. With any gaming console, it takes 18 months or more for developers to become proficient at coding for the processor and graphics engine of that particular device. Regardless, I think Coded Arms will be infinitely more enjoyable that the disappointing Rengoku: Tower of Purgatory. The graphics, gameplay, and early reviews all make Coded Arms to be one great game for the PSP.
